Antonella was born in Rome and grew up in Foggia with her mother, who came to know the Lord during a very difficult period of her life when Antonella was just 9 months old.

For Antonella, her mother, despite all the difficulties of the life of a single mother, is a point of reference and a great example of integrity and faithfulness to God.

An unforgettable memory from her childhood was the smell of coffee early in the morning and the voice of her mother reading the Bible and praying in a low voice so as not to wake her up.

Her mother’s deep and constant love for the Scriptures inspired and encouraged Antonella in the most difficult moments growing up. And precisely in one of those moments, when she was still very young, during the telling of a story from the Bible, Antonella placed her faith in Christ and from that moment Christ became for her the source and support of her life.

At 19, she moved to London to study the English language and serve with an English missionary organization. During this period she had a strong desire to get to know her father. Two years passed and finally, after much searching and waiting, God gave them the great joy of meeting. Their history and their relationship are a testimony of the great goodness and faithfulness of God!

Antonella has always shown an interest in and a passion for music since she was a child. So much so that when she was 9, someone from the evangelical church she attended in Foggia realized it and decided to invest in her little talent by secretly paying for her piano lessons for years.

With a desire to obey the Lord, she soon began serving in her church. She formed a band with some of her best friends, including Leonardo, whom she would marry years later and with whom she would continue to serve the Lord.

One of her passions is Jazz music, so she decided to enroll at the Conservatory of Music in Mantua and there she began her studies of Jazz Singing. This experience gave her the opportunity to meet some artists in the area and create friendships and she immediately realized how much music can break down walls, create relationships and more easily allow her to share the Gospel. So she, together with Leonardo, founded “The Masterpiece Project”.

For years she has been involved in music ministry in Italy, together with her husband Leonardo, through the translation and production of profound songs and with a solid theology, leading the church in worship, the teaching of workshops on biblical praise and the collaboration with several Christian artists and ministries.

Over the years she has attended several courses and webinars to study and deepen the biblical vision (biblical theology on music) of praise with the aim of growing and serving the Church more effectively.

Today one of her favorite quotes is: ““God is the ultimate musician. His music transforms your life. The notes of redemption rearrange your heart and restore your life. His songs of forgiveness, grace, reconciliation, truth, hope, sovereignty, and love give you back your humanity and restore your identity.”(Paul D. Tripp).
